A special moment with Omega Sports at the beginning of our journey.
Omega Sports was one of my first strategic partnerships. When we first started NC Eat & Play, Harrison and I were thrilled to be a feature story in their Neighborship Series. We’re big fans of their local stores (currently open in Raleigh at North Hills and 6 others including Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Wilmington, and two in Charlotte).
Staying active and filling our days with lots of play is important to our young family. They make it easy. We find the best running and sports products at great prices when we shop there. And the friendly staff helps you get exactly what you want for comfort and performance.Â
It feels like a lifetime ago when I was just posting and sharing on Instagram for fun and started getting tons of followers – including iconic brands following like Omega Sports. I remember being scared to death to talk on camera and worried I would blow this interview and everyone would stop following me.
Well, I’m not sure how well I did, but you guys showed me so much love and support. It built up my confidence to make NC Eat & Play what it is today and where I believe it can go.
Along the way (and a few more videos), I’ve found strength in helping locals find great places to eat and play. During COVID, it became even clearer that supporting local businesses are vital to our communities’ growth and success.
LAST BITE: Omega Sports helps local runners, athletes of all ages, and active adults to run more, move more, and play more. They’ve been proudly serving North Carolina for more than 43 years and continue to grow their special neighborship with thousands of customers every month- in-stores and online at OmegaSports.com.
