I’m back in the kitchen (or should I say, in the backyard this time) with my mom. Thanks to The Butcher’s Market, we get to share great ideas for spring tailgating – whether grilling in the backyard for game-watching on the sofa or outside with friends in the parking lot of a game.

This is our first attempt at grilling up our recently delivered dishes from The Butcher’s Market.

We’re up for this grilling challenge -especially for delicious steak tips, beef skewers, chicken wings, jalapeno poppers, brisket sausage, and prepared dips from The Butcher’s Market.

With the weather warming up, we’ve got tailgating on the brain. Few things make our mouths water faster than the smell of quality meats cooking on a grill.

My husband, Harrison, is a sucker for game day food, especially during March Madness, college basketball’s most exciting month. Every year, I spend hours in the kitchen making our favorite snacks to enjoy with the exciting tournament.

The Butcher’s Market has shown me the light, and I no longer exhaust myself in the kitchen. They’ve made tailgating so easy that even Harrison could do it! (Hehe, love you, darling).

My mama and I were lucky to try a delectable spread of some of The Butcher’s Market’s most popular tailgating dishes.

All of these items could be placed right on the grill. No special preparation is needed!

As if that wasn’t easy enough, The Butcher’s Market recently rolled out home delivery so you don’t have to leave your house to gather the ingredients. They’ve simplified tailgating into an event to be enjoyed, not burdened.

Truthfully, this was me and my mom’s first time using the grill on our own. My dad was the grill master growing up, and we were a little nervous we might burn ourselves or, worse…the food.

When I say The Butcher’s Market made it easy, I mean it. We honestly just had to turn the grill on and keep an eye on the food. Every dish could be grilled, so we didn’t have to spend precious hours over the stove or oven.

We had a feast of popular game day foods that, surprising to no one, were extra delicious from The Butcher’s Market. Everything they touch is gold, I tell ya.

Instructions

  • Turn the grill on to medium to medium-high heat.

  • Warm up the dips. Remove the plastic lids and replace with aluminum foil. Place the dips on the grill to heat until warmed through.
1 package Buffalo Chicken Dip, 1 package Spinach & Artichoke Dip
  • Cook the chicken wings. Grill the chicken wings over indirect heat, flipping every few minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165 °F. Place over direct heat for a couple minutes to get a nice char if desired.
    4 Buffalo Chicken Wings
  • Cook the jalapeno poppers. Place jalapenos on the grill. Tip: use aluminum foil underneath to keep the peppers from falling and the cheese from bubbling over. Leave on the grill until the bacon is cooked and crispy.
    4 Jalapeno Poppers
  • Grill the brisket sausage. Grill the sausages over direct heat, turning frequently, until internal temperature reaches 160 °F and the outside is browned.
