We have tried countless party meatball recipes, and these Cheerwine Chipotle BBQ meatballs are our new favorite! They are ridiculously addicting and will have everyone at your party asking for the recipe.
Let’s Talk About The Sauce
This recipe calls for Cheerwine BBQ sauce, and we altered the version we found on their website to fit this dish better. We highly recommend taking a few extra minutes to make this sauce from scratch like we did, but if you’re in a pinch, Cackalacky’s Cheerwine BBQ sauce is a good substitute!
To make the sauce, throw all the ingredients into a saucepan, bring it to a boil for a few minutes, and then remove from heat to thicken as it cools. Easy-peasy.
Cook The Meatballs
Add the BBQ sauce, meatballs, chipotle sauce, and cherry jelly to a slow cooker and let it cook for 4-6 hours.
We love party recipes that let us set it and forget it. No scrambling at the last minute as guests arrive!
