We recommend
- As is the case with most kid’s play areas, weekdays are the least crowded.
- Take snacks! They allow you to bring your own so take advantage of that.
- Buy some drinks! Not only are the beverages their main source of income, but they are tasty and just the pick-me-up a tired parent deserves.
There’s a new play cafe in Cary and I was invited to check it out with my two year old, Dean. Bumble Brews is a cute indoor play space with tons of toys and structures for the kids, and coffee/beer for the adults!
One of my favorite things about this space is that there really wasn’t anything that my toddler could get hurt on. So I spent time playing with him, but I also spent some time relaxing and drinking my hot cocoa.
There are a variety of toys that can be enjoyed by children of any age. Some toys encouraged pretend play while others were perfect for physical activity. My son enjoyed pretending to be a cashier one minute and then jumping around the next.
Kids are $8 and adults are free. You’re even welcome to bring your own food, they just ask that you purchase their drinks. Such a great deal and a perfect way to get your little ones out of the house for cheap. Time slots are currently 90 minutes and limited to 10 kids so that the owner can properly ensure distancing and cleanliness. You can read more about their current safety precautions here.
Have a little one with a birthday coming up? Check out their private party room as a great way to make their day a little extra special!
There are regularly scheduled ticketed events for the public that include crafts, stories, special guests, and more. These are limited in space so you’ll need to be checking their website and following their social media to stay up to date.
