Just outside of Greensboro, Summerfield Farms is 600 acres of natural beauty where guests feel right at home. Visitors are welcomed to celebrate special occasions like weddings, stay overnight in one of the onsite rental homes, participate in events, or shop the market for local goods.
We spent a weekend at Summerfield Farms back in 2021 and it was the first overnight trip we took after our second son was born. It was the perfect, approachable, cozy family vacation we needed in order to ease ourselves back into traveling.
Our oldest had the time of his life exploring the farm and baby and I loved having a change of scenery for our cuddles. Harrison enjoyed everything, but especially loved the grass-fed beef we picked up from the market!
We were hosted in the cabin, which is a charming 2 bedroom home surrounded by dogwood trees on the farm.
We loved the giant front deck with a gorgeous view and often took walks together to explore the nearby woods and green fields.
Summerfield Farms brings the community together through intentional events on the farm like children’s storytimes, food truck rodeos, and movie nights. They have their own permanent food truck called The Well Truck which serves beer, wine, lemonade, cider, and more.
An event took place during our stay and included a tractor-pulled wagon ride throughout the farm. It was truly breathtaking and we had the best time.
Summerfield Farms is a premier destination in the North Carolina Triad area, and I highly recommend paying them a visit. Whether it’s an overnight stay, a quick stop to the market, or participating in an event, I know you’ll have a great time!
