Dead People’s Stuff Antiques & Emporium is a fun antique store in downtown Lenoir.
As the name suggests, the Caldwell County store is full of dead people’s stuff, although it’s not quite as morbid as it sounds. The walls are lined with all sorts of knick-knacks and memorabilia, from taxidermied chickens to grandfather clocks. All with the comforting nostalgic aroma of your Grandma’s house.
We stopped in while waiting for lunch and it was the perfect way to kill time (pun intended). I loved seeing the historical items and imagining what their previous owners looked like. Kids are sure to enjoy taking in the timeless treasures as well!
We weren’t even looking to buy anything in particular, but I could’ve perused the aisles for hours. Next time you are in Lenoir, be sure to visit Dead People’s Stuff!
Check out Taste of Havana around the corner for authentic Cuban food that you will surely love!
