We had dinner there on our most recent trip to Caldwell County, and both the food and atmosphere delivered!

Located on the banks of the beautiful Lake Hickory, Copper Penny Grill specializes in fresh, always delicious ingredients and a wide variety of options to please any palate. Their extensive drink menu is also sure to never disappoint.

We were able to try quite a few menu items and all of them were great! We started a bowl of their fabulous crab and lobster bisque and we didn’t leave a single drop in the bowl!

We also tried a salad, pasta, and panini that were all excellent.

If you’re thinking we probably didn’t have room for dessert, you must not know us at all. We of course made room for their brownie cookie sundae and it was outstanding!

Besides the delicious cheese pizza, our boys had a blast playing on the large patio. Copper Penny Grill provided a variety of games like connect four, cornhole, tic tac toe and oversized beach balls. It was the perfect kid entertainment while the adults enjoyed a quiet dinner for once.

Copper Penny Grill is a restaurant you cannot miss if you are in Caldwell County. The relaxing ambiance and mouth watering food will definitely have us coming back for more!
