Have you heard the news? NC Eat & Play is partnering with V Pizza North Carolina. You can expect a summer filled with fun events, adventures by the slice, oven-on-the-road trips, and grand opening excitement (with sneak previews) of their newest location coming to the Triangle.
Let’s start with V Pizza’s new mobile stone pizza oven
Can you really order an authentic Neapolitan pizza for your next family gathering? “Oh for sure!” That’s what V Pizza North Carolina’s owner, Anthony Rapillo says as he debuts his new mobile authentic Italian stone pizza oven. He and his team have already booked several weddings starting in June and can’t wait to make your next celebration even more special.
After securing a perfect stone oven crafted by Italian masters, Anthony’s next feat was to find a truck that would provide ample space for fresh ingredients, supplies, and safe coverage for this team and event-goers.
Months and months of hard work went into creating this mobile truck opportunity. Anthony shares, “There were so many weddings and graduations that were either canceled or postponed last year. We knew if we could bring an oven with us, we’d be helping our neighbors safely enjoy celebrations again.”
The mobile oven menu can be customized for your event by Anthony and his team. A popular choice is the pizza bar filled with several of V Pizza’s creations like the Pizza Carnivore, Pizza Pollo Calabrese, and everyone’s fun “have-to-try” Pizza Mac-Attack.
What is Neapolitan pizza?
Neapolitan pizza also known as Naples-style pizza is made with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. But not just any tomatoes or mozz, authentic recipes call for San Marzano tomatoes and Mozzarella di Bufala Campana made with milk from Campania water buffalo.Â
And hey, don’t forget about the stone oven chicken wings!
