NORTH CAROLINA’S NODA BREWING JUST DROPPED YOUR NEW FAVORITE BEER: YUP, CHEERWINE ALE IS HERE.

Sunshine, outdoor dining, wanderlusting through the state with a cold one in hand- after the last few weeks of wintry weather, all that’s on our mind is the return of summer, and Cheerwine is making that a little easier to do with its latest collaboration.

Cheerwine, North Carolina’s own iconic cherry soda brand, has over 100 years of history and is privately owned and managed by its founding family- five generations later. Cheerwine has teamed up with Charlotte’s World Beer Cup award-winning NoDa Brewing Company to release Cheerwine Ale, a smooth-drinking wheat ale infused with that singularly Southern cherry soda sweetness. “Cheerwine and NoDa are synonymous with North Carolina, and both our fan bases have fond memories of enjoying our beverages during their most cheerful times – from summer vacations to the holidays and all points in between,” says Jacob Virgil of NoDa.

Sweet spring into summer sipping is just around the corner, and the state’s latest bout of warm spring sunshine is the perfect backdrop for the Cheerwine Ale release. The Ale will be sold in 16 oz—four-pack cans at select retailers or on draft at several Charlotte and Triangle-based restaurants and bars. Cheerwine and NoDa plan to expand its availability in the coming weeks. Follow NoDa Brewing and Cheerwine for the latest news on where to find it near you.
