NC Eat & Play Spring Hootenanny & Foodie Festival

Were you one of the lucky locals who snagged a ticket to NC Eat & Play’s Spring Hootenanny & Foodie Festival presented by Cheerwine before they all sold out? This event is going to be an unforgettable night of tasty feasts, southern fun on the farm, and sounds of bluegrass.

Hootenanny

Our team has worked tirelessly to program this Hootenanny from start to finish. From the moment you step out of your car, you will be engulfed in what can only be described as Hootenanny magic. As we’ve planned for excitement around every corner, we figured you could use a trusty guide to help you navigate and make the most of your experience.

What you need to know before you attend:

  • Always check the weather forecast for temperature and dress accordingly.
  • Phillips Farms is a large local farm with several fields, please head towards the large Farmers Market Pavillion – you can’t miss it!
  • We have parking attendants to help navigate parking. Expect to park on gravel or grass fields.
  • Make sure you lock your cars and avoid leaving valuables visible. NC Eat & Play, its brand management, Phillips Farms, and its entities are not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles or vehicle contents.
  • The majority of the event takes place on gravel and grass depending on the activity. Please keep this in mind for footwear and strollers. Please let the attendant know if you need accessibility help.
  • Attendees are not allowed to bring food to the event with exception of snacks and other needs for small kids.
  • ID check is required for admittance. All attendees must show ID whether or not they plan to drink alcoholic beverages.
  • We encourage 21 and up to drink responsibly. Ride-sharing, carpooling, and utilizing a designated driver are always recommended. The event organizers will not be liable for your actions.
  • Please have your tickets ready for scanning when checking in at the gate. We will need to scan either your printout or phone image. Kids 12 and under will be admitted for free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for all. We will have volunteers and staff throughout the event for help and support. Any conduct that creates an unsafe, disrupting, or illegal environment will be cause for immediate removal from the event without refund.
  • No smoking is permitted.
  • Restrooms are available via porta-potties with handwashing stations.
