YOTT: NC Trail Days Festival in Elizabethtown: Paddle Trip on Jones Lake

Never paddled before, or have limited experience in a kayak? This ranger-led trip on typically placid Jones Lake is a great introduction. We’ll start with basic instruction — how to hold the paddle, basic paddle strokes, maintaining balance should the water get choppy — then paddle this unique lake, an eliptical body of water possibly formed by a massive meteor shower. All equipment is provided.
