YOTT: NC Trail Days Festival in Elizabethtown: Mountains-to-Sea Trail Hike

Hike a rare stretch of completed Mountains-to-Sea Trail in the Coastal Plain on this guided hike from Jones Lake to Turnbull Creek.
Much of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail in North Carolina’s Coastal Plain is temporarily routed on two-lane country roads. But in the Elizabethtown area there’s a 12-mile continuous stretch of the MST; we will hike a portion of that stretch on this hike that begins at Jones Lake and ends in Turnbull Creek Educational State Forest. The hike is through a mix of open sandhills terrain and tight bay forest. A beginner-friendly hike.
