Explore the world of bats, while hiking along a park trail. During your journey, you will “become a bat”, flap your wings like a bat, and eat mosquito marshmallows and bat salad. You and your family will learn about many different bat species, and the important role they play in our world.
Come dressed in your Halloween costumes and good walking shoes. Don’t forget your flashlights!
When registering please select your event entrance time. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time of entry. Remember to allow adequate time for parking and checking in upon arrival.
This event will be entirely along a trail loop with two gentle slopes (less than a mile total) The event will be held rain or shine.
All proceeds will go to the Friends of Haw River State Park to support educational programming at Haw River State Park.
