2024 SoPines Chili Cook Off | COMPETITORS

CALLING ALL COOKS: O’Donnell’s Pub Annual Southern Pines Chili Cook-Off is a GO! 
(TASTERS: Entry is $10 for 16 & Up CASH IN PERSON)

O’DONNELL’S PUB ANNUAL SOPINE’S CHILI COOK-OFF

ALL COMPETITORS: All entrants MUST register here. We no longer be accept paper registrations at the Pub.

Awards for: Best Decorated Booth, Best Restaurant, Best Non-Restaurant

Only ONE registration ticket is needed per booth.

You MUST submit your Restaurant, Business, or NonProfit name when registering.

PROCEEDS SUPPORT:

Special Forces Chapter 62 – a local non-profit supporting the United States Special Forces and its soldiers. For more information on the chapter, please click here.

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION:

  • CHECK-IN 10:00AM out front of the Pub. Please look for WENDY or PATRICK (photo above: Patrick on the Left, Wendy on the Right).
  • Approximately 500 guests – estimate 1 oz sample each
  • Prepare 10 gallons, toppings for your chili at your discretion
  • Please inform ASAP of Shellfish / Nuts (for allergy awareness)
  • No electricity provided – you must bring alternative heating sources (i.e. propane burner)
  • Sample cups (1.5/2oz) to be provided to you, guests will receive spoons at check in
  • Standard banquet table (2’ x 6’) provided
  • To be provided by YOU should you wish: tent/canopy (10’ x 10’ max), chairs, napkins, utensils, table cloth.
  • Awards given for Best Decorated Booth, Best Restaurant, Best Non-Restaurant
  • Water will be sold by VFW/SFA Chapter 62 for additional fundraising – please do NOT provide refreshment
  • Bring collateral, business cards, menus, etc – this is a Public Relations / Marketing opportunity for you.
  • Please note that this is NOT a vendor event and we kindly ask you not to sell product at your tables.
  • Please bring trash bags for your own waste, large waste receptacle will be provided
  • On site staffing will be provided for assistance and to ensure smooth operations
  • Competition from 12 – 3PM
  • Award Ceremony at 3PM

For all TASTERS: Entry is $10 for 16 & Up THE DAY OF. This includes ONE SPOON & 2 Voting Tokens.
