Have you ever had a cheese-stuffed garlic knot? I hadn’t until I tried them at @peribrotherspizza and y’all my life is changed. This family owned pizza joint in Raleigh is a gem! In addition to these beautiful, stretchy, cheesy flavor bombs, we got pizza, pasta, and cannolis. The pizza was NY style with thin crust and it was great! I often have former New Yorkers ask me for suggestions on where to get a good “floppy” pie. Peri Brothers is the place. The slices were foldable, which I’m convinced is the best way to eat a pizza.
The pasta was penne a la vodka which is one of our favorites and theirs includes bacon and ham so we were thrilled about it. The cannolis were some of the best I’ve had and they even brought Dean a mini one! He was a big fan. The nicest owners, delicious food, fun atmosphere. These guys are winners in my book.
- Any of the pizzas, but you definitely can’t go wrong with a classic pepperoni. This pie was the most “floppy” of all the pizzas I’ve tried in the Triangle yet.
- Penne a la Vodka- We order this dish at just about every pizzeria that offers it and this one was outstanding. It included pieces of bacon and ham throughout the noodles which made it more filling and delicious for no added cost.
- The garlic knots stuffed with cheese- They are garlic knots stuffed with cheese. I’m not sure I need to say anything else to convince you.
- Cannoli’s- The perfect way to wrap up your meal. These are made fresh in house and were incredible.
