Guasaca Arepa & Salsa Grill
- The guasaca. You may be tempted to skip it because it’s an added cost, but that would be a big mistake. It’s their unique take on guacamole and the flavors are just immaculate.
- The sauces. It will take some trial and error to find your perfect flavor combination, but the sauces will always take your order up a notch. My favorite is the cilantro sauce but the garlic and mustard sauces are crowd favorites as well.
It has taken me way too long to try a bowl from Guasaca. We tried their arepas over a year ago and liked them, but struggled to find our perfect combination of flavors. That’s probably why I enjoyed this bowl so much, I got to pick lots of ingredients. The portion was huge and it was so delicious. I got the grilled chicken bowl with half rice, half lettuce. The necessary components in my humble opinion are the cilantro sauce, guasaca (extra but worth it), cheese, and baked plantains.
Curbside pickup was so easy and will make this one of my new regular lunch spots since I won’t have to take the baby out of the car to get it!
