Question: Why are whoopie pies so hard to come by? It’s a real issue for me. Thankfully, Annelore’s German Bakery exists and we stopped by a few days ago. The woman behind the counter (who I’m pretty sure was an actual angel) kept reassuring me that everything there is made with a lot of love. And judging from the taste of it, I believe her.

This cute little bakery is an absolute gem in Cary. They also set up at the NC Farmer’s Market which is where I was first introduced to them. I couldn’t resist the smell of the fresh soft pretzels and I’m glad I didn’t try to.
