2 must-try food hall restaurants

Lawrence Barbecue

It’s almost the weekend and I’m really feeling my homesteader vibes right now.

Maybe it’s because of the snowy weekends, the family being under the weather a bit, or it’s time spent rearranging my furniture layout again and again, but I’ve really loved staying in lately.

Make no mistake though, as much as I love my new kitchen, Harrison and I always make time to pick up great meals. Especially fun meals that I have no business trying to make myself.

Here are my take-home indulgences from local food halls for the weekend. I hope this encourages you to stop in and pick up a meal or two this weekend as well.

Lawrence Barbecue is one of my favorite spots in the Triangle for barbecue. Since opening in Boxyard RTP, a food hall in Research Triangle Park made of shipping containers, they’ve helped Boxyard RTP become one of the hottest food halls in town.

I love their brisket sandwiches, creamy macaroni & cheese, fries, and incredible desserts. So indulgent!

Not looking for barbecue this weekend? Want something easy and fun to eat?

I mean, come on! These are just fun, delicious and make a hearty dish when you’re looking for a quick meal.

Mat Jib Korean Corn Dogs & Sushi is my go-to.

Located in one of the most popular Asian grocery stores in the area, H Mart, Mat Jib has a fun variety of sushi and corn dogs to try.
